Elevate, a mental health program for teens.
The Elevate program is designed to help high school students navigate mental health struggles by making use of the peace and beauty of Sylvan Dale's natural landscape. The program combines outdoor recreation such as rock climbing, hiking, archery, and birdwatching, with mindfulness and mental health skill building sessions with specialists including an equine therapist, a horticulture therapist, an art therapist, and yoga. The teens learn tools they can use at home and school to reduce the severity of mental health issues and benefit from building connections with peers going through similar challenges.
