Dinner and Lecture Series: Owls of Colorado

Join Heart-J Center and Sylvan Dale Ranch for a delicious meal followed by a fascinating talk about the Owls of Colorado by bird expert, researcher, and artist, Scott Rashid. Scott will explore the natural history of the eleven species of owls that inhabit Northern Colorado, including the great horned,  long-eared, short-eared, boreal, flammulated, eastern screech, and many more.

Scott is the director of the Colorado Avian Research and Rehabilitation Institution (CARRI) and has been working with birds including hawks, owls, falcons, songbirds, and hummingbirds for more than 30 years.   He has written and illustrated 6 books including Small Mountain Owls and Exploring the World of the Barn Owl (an intimate look into their secretive lives).

$30 per person plus 3.7% sales tax and 15% gratuity = $35.61
