The working valley and conserved land stewarded by Heart-J Center
Philanthropic Investment

Foundation & Grant Partners

A trusted steward for philanthropic investment in land, young people, and community.

Why foundations partner with Heart-J Center

Heart-J Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization at Sylvan Dale Ranch in Loveland, Colorado. We manage philanthropic investment in conservation, education, youth development, veterans, and community resilience.

Permanently Protected Land

Most of the 960 acres in our care is under conservation easement, so grant investment lands on ground that stays protected.

Programs Already Running

Youth, veteran, workforce, and stewardship programs operate on an annual calendar with staff, partners, and participants in place.

Honest Reporting

Participation, outcomes, and stewardship results are tracked and reported as they happened, including what did not work.

Institutional Collaboration

Work is carried out with schools, universities, agencies, watershed groups, and veteran organizations rather than in isolation.

Financial Transparency

Form 990, audited statements, board roster, and operating budget documentation are available to funding partners on request.

Long Horizon

Stewardship of this valley is a multi-generational commitment, not a grant cycle.
