Heart-J Center ELEVATE

About the program

Heart-J Center's ELEVATE Program is a nature-based mental health support program that nurtures healing, connection, and self-discovery. We pair the restorative power of nature with meaningful outdoor experiences, guided by a facilitator, therapist, and wellness practitioner.

Each program is customized to address the mental health needs of underserved communities. Participants leave with a stronger sense of self, practical tools for ongoing care, and a Mental Health Field Guide filled with tangible resources to support their well-being.

ELEVATE begins with a one-day outdoor experience for 15-30 participants per session.

A Day May Include
  • River hikes
  • Individual reflection time in nature
  • Creative expression through art and writing
  • Introductory yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness
  • Music and sound-bowl experiences
  • Stress management and self-assessment tools
  • Structured group discussions
  • Peaceful relaxation in a beautiful setting

“We had such a wonderful time at the retreat. Rarely do we get the chance to be still, relax, and connect with nature like that. Although it was only one day, these types of retreats make a big long-term impact on our team.”
Tabitha, Respite Care
“A refreshing and grounding experience. I left feeling both re-energized and reflective. A wonderful reminder of how powerful slowing down and being present in nature can be.”
